Letters received by A. V. Bakhrakh which discuss 20th century Russian literature, contemporary Slavic studies, and Russian emigre publishing activities. Correspondents include Andrei Belyi (Boris Bugaev), Ivan Bunin, Kornei Chukovskii, Andre Gide and Boris Pilniak. There are over 300 letters by Gleb Struve wtitten from 1964 to 1983, which cover the above topics as well as Struve's personal and professional life. There are both letters and manuscripts by Vladislav Khodasevich, Aleksei Remizov and Marina Tsvetaeva.

Correspondence, manuscripts, and documents created during Baikalov's sojourn in England, from about 1918 on. There is correspondence with major Russian emigres such as Aleksandr Guchkov, Aleksandr Kerenskii, Boris Nikolaevskii, and Marc Slonim, and with British figures such as Malcolm Muggeridge, the Duchess of Atholl, Sir Bernard Pares, and Sidney Webb.

Besides correspondence, there are a few manuscripts, and also biographical information on many of the authors. Among the correspondents are Ivan Bunin, Vladimir Nabokov, Alekseĭ Remizov, Gleb Struve, and Boris Vysheslavt︠s︡ev.

Papers include correspondence, manuscripts, documents, photographs, subject files, and printed materials. The extensive correspondence relates to Mogilat's personal and professional activities and includes letters from many of her students and colleagues. Correspondents include Gleb Struve, Alexandra Tolstoy and Boris Unbegaun. Of special interest are letters by her first husband Baron von Taube, written from the front during World War I, and correspondence with various Russian acqaintances about the Soviet Union in the 1920s and 1930s in which they describe life in a communal apartment, and plans to rescue friends who have been arrested. Subject files concern Columbia's Russkiĭ Kruzhok and the Avtonomoff method of teaching Russian to Americans. There are letters, photographs, concert programs and music of Russian emigre composer and pianist Ariadna Mikeshina. Manuscripts are by various persons; most are by John Paul Mihaly, who had been Mogilat's student. There is also a manuscript of translations by Clarence Manning, "Four Poems by Blok." Documents and photographs concern Mogilat and her family, both before and after emigration. Printed materials consist mostly of off-prints of articles by Clarence Manning and others, primarily on literary topics. There are also books, mimeographed materials, periodicals, and clippings.

Correspondence, manuscripts, photographs, subject files, and printed materials of Evgenii Aleksandrovich Vechorin, chiefly concerning alumni of the St. Petersburg Polytechnical Institute. The catalogued correspondence includes letters from Nikolai Andreev, Petr Savitskii, Igor ́Sikorskii, Gleb Struve, and Alfred Swann, and other prominent figures. Much of the arranged correspondence is from fellow graduates of the Institute, and concerns alumni affairs. Most of the manuscripts are likewise by fellow graduates; many are memoirs, such as those by Vechorin himself, while others concern technical subjects. Among the subject files are biographical sketches of Institute graduates and files on such individuals as Petr Savitskii, Igor ́Sikorskii, and Alfred Swann. There are several photographs taken at the Institute ca. 1900 as well as photographs of Vechorin and his colleagues after emigration. The printed materials include clippings and excerpts, miscellaneous journals, and books by Vechorin and S. P. Timoshenko.

Correspondence, manuscripts, subject files, and printed materials. Cataloged correspondents in the collection include Georgii Adamovich, Mstislav Dobuzhinskii, and Sergei Lifar'. Manuscripts consist of typed copies of Pierre Kovalevskii's extensive diaries, which begin in Petrograd in 1918 and continue to 1973; the only missing years are 1961-1969. Subject files chiefly concern emigre organizations with which Evgraf was involved, especially the Russian Academic Group (Russkaia Akademicheskaia Gruppa) and the Russian Committee of United Organizations (Russkii Komitet Obʺedinennykh Organizatsii). Post-World War II organizational files of Petr Kovalevskii are on the Society for the Preservation of Russian Cultural Valuables (Obschestvo Okhraneniia Russkikh Kul'turnykh TSennostei), and the Committee to Commemorate the 250th Anniversary of St. Petersburg (IUbileinyi Komitet Oznamenovaniia 250-ti letiia St. Peterburga).

The collection contains RNK correspondence, documents, photographs, subject files, organizational records and printed materials. There are letters from Boris Bakhmeteff, Pavel and Petr Dolgorukov, Zinaida Gippius, Aleksandr Kutepov, Dmitrii Merezhovskii, Bernard Pares, Ariadna Tyrkova-Williams, George Vernadsky, and Petr Vrangel. There is a short essay by Aleksandra Tolstaia about her father. The manuscripts relate to political, historical and sociological issues. Most of the subject files relate to emigre organizations other than the RNK, while those of the RNK are classified into files of financial records, bulletins, minutes and lists of names and addresses. Among the printed materials are brochures and pamphlets, clippings, newspapers, and books.
