20 Linear FeetThe Joanna Wan-Ying Chan papers (陳尹瑩檔案) document the tale of a Hong Kong native, a US immigrant, a Maryknoll sister, and ultimately an artist and a trail-blazing playwright and stage director in Chinese-American theatre as well as Cantonese-language theatre in Hong Kong. The collection consists of Joanna Chan's personal materials as well as the records for three theatrical repertories: Four Seas Players, Yangtze Repertory Theatre of America, Hong Kong Repertory Theatre, dating from 1970-2020. Also included are files related to her collaborative and inspiring work and involvement in the Sing Sing Rehabilitation Through the Arts (RTA) program, dating from 2001-2020. The highlight and the bulk of the collection is in Series IV: Production Files, which focuses on the creative theatrical productions directed and produced by Joanna Chan.

120.5 Linear FeetThe V. K. Wellington Koo papers document the diplomatic legacy of Wellington Koo as a Chinese statesman and diplomat of the 20th Century. The papers primarily consist of materials collected during Koo's diplomatic career, relating to the Lytton Commission, 1932-1933; the League of Nations, 1931-1940; the United Nations, 1944-1946; his ambassadorships to France, 1932-1941; to Britain, 1941-1946; to the United States, 1946-1956; as the Senior Advisor to the Republic of China from 1956; and as the Judge on the International Court of Justice, 1957-1966. The materials include correspondence, diaries, memoranda, manuscripts, documents, notes, speeches, maps, photographs, printed material, and audio visual material. The bulk of the materials emphasizes China's domestic and foreign affairs, such as the Sino-Japanese conflict, World War II and the Cold War in the Far East region, as well as the League of Nations and the United Nations.

William Yukon Chang papers, 1920-2010
46 Linear FeetWilliam Yukon Chang was the founder and editor of "Chinese-American Times", a Chinese American paper that published completely in English from 1955 to 1972. While running the newspaper, Chang also served in local social and civic groups to address issues facing the New York Chinatown community, including poverty, juvenile delinquency, mental illness and lack of access to adult language programs. The William Yukon Chang papers document Chang's life and career, Chinese American life, and social service and activism scene in the Lower East Side from the 1950s to the 1970s.
