The memoirs deal with such topics as Chizhov's military education, his military service (garrison duty in Warsaw, the Far East, World War I, and the Civil War in the south), and his life in the emigration.

Manuscripts and memoirs of Vakar. The topics with which Vakar chiefly deals include: his military education and service; the role of the cavalry in the Imperial Army; emigre military groups in Europe; the Russian Defense Corps (Russkiĭ Okhrannyĭ Korpus) in Yugoslavia during World War II; and Russian emigre life in Argentina after the war. In addition to the manuscripts and memoirs, there are several posters and maps drawn by Vakar on military topics.

Svetozar Pribicevic Microfilms, 1895-1944

The documents in this collection span the inter-war years but cluster around the 1930-1936 period when Pribičeviʹc was living in exile in France and Czechoslovakia. They consist primarily of correspondence, police reports, foreign mission dossiers, clippings and speeches and shed light on Pribičeviʹc's public life. These materials are part of the holdings of the archives of the Czech Academy of Sciences, the National Museum and the Office of the President of the Republic, and were microfilmed in 1967 at the request of Stoyan Pribichevich, the son of Svetozar Pribičeviʹc.

The papers consist of manuscripts and printed materials. The manuscripts include an autobiographical essay, Pronin's memoirs about Generals Kornilov and Brusilov, an essay about an attempt to murder Trot︠s︡kiĭ and articles on the Russian emigration in Yugoslavia and Brazil. The printed materials include copies of the journal "Vera i vernost,́" Pronin's pamphlet "Krymskai︠a︡ voĭna -- Oborona Sevastopoli︠a︡" and "Vo imi︠a︡ pravdy -- O belom dvizhenii i ego vozhdi︠a︡kh," to which Pronin and others contributed.

The collection consists of manuscripts, memoirs and a printed item. Manuscripts consist of poems by Maĭborodov, including a typescript of a poema entitled "Bogdan Khmelńit︠s︡kiĭ." The memoirs primarily concern the years 1900-1938 and include Maĭborodov's reminiscences as a student at St. Petersburg University (1900-1904) and his reminiscences of his service as a zemstvo chief in the Volyni︠a︡n, Podoli︠a︡n, Bessarabian and Kherson provinces from 1904-1916. The printed item is an off-print (61 p.) of a memoir entitled "S frant︠s︡uzami," which was published in "Arkhiv Russkoĭ Revoli︠u︡tsii." In the collection it is part of the memoir "Vo vremi︠a︡ smuty (pri vremennom pravitelśtve) [1917-1920]."
