The typescript "Tipy zakliuchennykh NKVD" (or "Gallereia tipov zakliuchennykh NKVD") by A. T. consists of a number of short essays on the fate of individuals during the great purge of the 1930s.

Essays of varying lengths on Russian themes.

This is a collection of twenty letters addressed to Daniel Polluche "de la Societe Literaire et Historien d'Orleans." The letters are from Etienne de Foncemagne, Louis Lemerault, Nicholas Lenglet Dufresnoy, the Duc de Luynes, Antoine-Joseph Pernety, and Daniel Secousse, and are requests for information and discussions of publishing projects related to work on Joan of Arc. There are also manuscript notes taken from books in the Jeanne d'Arc book collection"Remarques sur une Médaille de Philippe second.." by Polluche, and notes and a battle plan drawn for Samuel L. Clemens book about Joan of Arc.

The collection consists of correspondence, manuscripts, documents, a photograph, and printed material, primarily from the period 1941-1957. Included are letters from Ivan Bunin, Marc Chagall, Mikhail Karpovich, Vasiliĭ Maklakov, W. Somerset Maugham, Vladimir Nabokov, Ili︠́a︡ Repin, Edmund Wilson, Boris Zaĭt︠s︡ev and many others. Manuscripts of his works include "Istoki""Nachalo kont︠s︡a""Zhivi, kak khochesh"́, and "The Escape" (English translation of "Begstvo"), such shorter tales as "Noch ́v terminale""Povest ́o smerti", and "Ulḿskai︠a︡ noch"́, as well as numerous articles, book reviews and essays. There are financial records for "Novyĭ Zhurnal", which Aldanov helped found, and the clippings are mainly articles about Aldanov. There is one late photograph of Aldanov.

These include over four hundred letters to Alexander, as well as miscellaneous letters and telegrams; some of his manuscripts and notes; business records of his law firm; military documents of the western divisions of the Confederate Army; copybooks and letter books; and complete and partial newspapers and clippings from the various Southern newspapers (in particular THE SAVANNAH REPUBLICAN, the DAILY DISPATCH of Richmond, and the ADVERTISER AND REGISTER of Mobile) which carried Alexander's dispatches.

Correspondence, manuscripts, documents, notes, printed material, and photographs of Leonard Altman concerning his work as editor of LISTEN and board member of Carnegie Hall as well as his other professional and personal interests.

Correspondence and manuscripts of many authors who were asked to contribute to the proposed anthology, as well as letters from publishers to whom the project had been offered. Among the cataloged correspondents are: John Ashbery, W.H. Auden, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, David Ignatow, W.S. Merwin, Ron Padgett, and May Sarton.

The collection includes correspondence from Konstantin Balḿont, Nikolaĭ Evreĭnov, Zinaida Gippius, Georgiĭ Grebenshchikov, Vasiliĭ Maklakov, Sergeĭ Potresov and Nadezhda Teffi. There is one letter each from Boris Bakhmeteff, Vera Bunina, Aleksandr Grechaninov, Aleksandr Kuprin and Alekseĭ Tolstoĭ. The manuscripts include poems and a play scenario by Nadezhda Teffi as well as Roshchina-Insarova's autobiographical essays and article about Sergeĭ Lifar.́ In addition, there are three scrapbooks containing clippings and programs of Roshchina-Insarova's performances, and approximately 40 photographs of her.
