Correspondence, letter books, manuscripts, typescripts, notes, galley proofs, reports, banking records, pamphlets, and other printed materials. The so-called "private" letter books contain copies of outgoing personal and business letters, April 1914-Jan. 1918. The remaining correspondence files relate to the writing of Hepburn's two books HISTORY OF COINAGE AND CURRENCY IN THE UNITED STATES.. (New York, 1903) and A HISTORY OF CURRENCY IN THE UNITED STATES..(New York, 1915); to his activities in the fields of finance and money, such as the Pan-American Finance Commission (1915), the New York State Governor's Securities Commission (1920), and the Federal Milk Commission (1917); and his files regarding the establishment of the Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, 1918. Also, manuscripts, typescripts, notes, and galley proofs for the two books that he wrote; and six bank examiner's books used by Hepburn while he was U.S. Bank Examiner for New York, 1888-1892.

The Marvel Quarterly and Annual Reports were a collaboration between corporate and creative after Marvel Comics' IPO in 1991. These reports were presented in the form of comic books, written by Gary Fishman, of the investor and PR company, Hudson Stone Group, with art by well-known Marvel pencilers and inkers, such as John Romita Jr. Jimmy Palmiotti, and George Roussos. The collection also includes the IPO documents, contemporary press coverage, awards, and a recent article documenting the reports' history.

Business and personal correspondence of Shaw. There are letters from Maxim Nordenfelt Guns and Ammunition Co. to Shaw in the 1890s concerning the sale of arms and munitions to the Greek government, and letters from Basil Zaharoff, director of Maxim Nordenfelt and personal friend of Mr. Shaw; personal letters from Plato Draculis, Greek emigré to England, a writer and some-time professor of Modern Greek at Oxford; letters from Stephen Skouloudis, Greek Prime Minister during World War I; and letters from various members of Shaw's family, friends, and business associates, written in Greek and Turkish. Of major interest in this collection is the material concerning Basil Zaharoff. This correspondence reveals much about his early career. Part of the collection also has a bearing on the international situation of Greece in a critical period. Also, transcripts of and typed quotations from various letters with other notes assembled by Plato E. Shaw for his father's biography.
