Items worthy of p;ublication have been published in CORPUS INSCRIPTIONUM LATINARUM, volumes VI and XV, and in the AMERICAN JOURNAL OF ARCHAELOGY, 1899 and 1906. There are 11 inscibed pipes (lead) and 15 stamped bricks among the Latin inscriptions. There are only 3 Greek inscriptions (again, sepulchral) in the collection. Squeezes of published Greek inscriptions, ca. 500, are also available for study in conjunction with the published inscriptions

1 Linear FeetA collection of ancient Greek and Roman coins formed by Columbia professor George N. Olcott (A.B. 1893; Ph.D. 1899). The coins are arranged in chronological order in two cabinets. A hand-written card catalog indexes and describes each coin. In 1958 the Library acquired a collection of squeezes of almost all the coins used in the ancient Greek city of Syracuse on the island of Sicily
