The papers cover Miss Richmond's social work career in Baltimore, Philadelphia, and New York where whe served as Director of the Charity Organization Dept. of the Russell Sage Foundation. Her efforts were directed toward the reorganization and introduction of new methods, including the case method. Also contains childhood memorabilia and an 1821 genealogy.
