Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1959) was an American architect internationally recognized for his innovative building design, the Taliesin architecture school and fellowship, and his philosophy of "organic architecture."
This series includes transcripts of 236 of Fellowship talks dating from 1948 until a few weeks prior to Wright's death in 1959. The format of the transcripts are unbound typescripts and are arranged chronologically. About 50 of those transcripts include manuscript annotations likely in Wright's hand. Audio recordings exist for nearly all of the talks represented in this collection. Associated reel numbers are listed under the title of the talk. Use the reel number to search for the corresponding digitized audio recording in Series III.
