Description

Scope and Content

Professional papers of social worker Helen Rehr. The collection documents Rehr's long career as a social worker, from her college and graduate coursework in the subject through her own impressive career. The collection is particularly rich in Rehr's scholarly and professional output, and includes a significant number of articles and books published by Rehr, as well as lectures and addresses on various topics.

Rehr was an active advocate for the social work profession. In addition to her professional practice, she taught social work, holding visiting professorships at the University of Pennsylvania, Ben Gurion University, Hebrew University, and Haifa University.
