Office files divided into two sections: 1) correspondence (cataloged) with people well known in literary and educational fields; 2) correspondence (not cataloged) with Columbia University administrators and faculty members dealing with a variety of University affairs; correspondence with officials of other institutions of higher learning, learned societies, and the Association of American Universities.
