Summary

Correspondence, minutes, memoranda, reports, project proposals, financial records, and related printed materials documenting various social services focused on community development, the elimination of poverty, and the prevention and control of juvenile deliquency. Among its programs are manpower and training services such as the Neighborhood Youth Corps, a remedial education and work program, and the New Careers Program, providing both instruction and on the job training; individual, group, and family services such as counseling and supportive services for jovenile delinquents; and mental health services.
