Description

Scope and Content

Correspondence, manuscripts and printed materials. Includes 1,016 letters from Symons to his wife, Rhoda, 1,045 letters from Rhoda Bowser Symons to Arthur Symons, many letters to Mrs. Symons at the time of Symons' mental breakdown in 1908-1909, correspondence with her family, the Bowser family of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and about her theatrical career.
