Series XII: Darby Moore gift, 1887-2007, bulk 1912-1969, bulk 1912-1969

This series contains material donated by Douglas Moore's daughter, Darby Moore in 2015. It includes clippings and programs relating to Moore's works, family materials (including materials relating to Sarah Moore, Mary Moore Kelleher, and Emily Moore), correspondence (with family and colleagues) and other memorabilia. Many of these materials have been annotated by the donor.

Box CMI124 Scrapbook, circa 1919-1937, 1 items

16.5x12x2-inch scrapbook containing photographs, clippings, and programs about the Moore family. Includes two hand-engraved medals affixed to one of the pages. Some pages are torn and some photographs have come loose. This item is fragile and should be handled with care. The metal binding has been removed from the item to avoid rusting.



Box CMI125 Darby S. Moore scrapbook, circa 1915-1925, 1 items

14.5x11.5x2-inch scrapbook. A family heirloom passed down to Darby S. Moore. Many photos are loose and some pages are torn. Photographs are affixed to the pages with tape and glue. A note from the donor is taped to the cover: "This scrapbook contains photos of Doug's life: family - education - travel, etc. Also, many, many newspapers clippings about his [illegible] connecting his career. Photos are not identified except some where I've identified Doug. Book is delicate and has been cannabilized for photos, evidently."
