Two scrapbooks of chess problems (one vol. contains the TLS chess problems 1908-1914; the second vol. contains miscellaneous problems, with an index); a typed letter, signed, of William Penn Shipley (photocopy), with related photograph; and an obituary clipping for Shipley from The New York Times.
